For Loïc, teaching skiing is above all a labor of love : love for the sport, the mountains, and the people with whom he shares his passion.
Loïc, from Rhône-Alpes, strapped on his first skis at the age of 3 in Megève. He competed in alpine skiing for 12 years, taking part in 8 European Cup downhill races and a World Cup in Val Gardena in 1988. His career then took him to the United States, where he competed in the American collegiate championship (NCAA) and earned All American honors.
A specialist in alpine and backcountry skiing, Loïc has been teaching for 32 years. He speaks French, English, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian.
His favorite slope : Altipole.
Off the slopes, Loïc teaches marketing at the University of Savoie and enjoys gentle sports such as cycling, yoga, Pilates, and walking, as well as traveling.
