Louis Rives, from Carcassonne, discovered skiing at a very young age, joining the Ski Club Audois.
Quickly passionate, he started competing and joined the sports-study program at Font-Romeu, before moving on to the prestigious Pôle Espoir in Moutiers, Savoie. Between the ages of 10 and 22, he participated in over 300 competitions, achieving 60 podiums, including 30 victories. He also excelled on the FIS circuit with 10 podiums and represented France in prestigious international competitions such as La Borrufa in Andorra, the Young Citizen Cup, La Scara in Val d’Isère, and the Seven Nations Cup in Austria.
During the 2023-24 season, he competed in the United States on the North American university circuit, further developing his sporting and international experience.
For the past 3 years, Louis has shared his knowledge and passion for alpine skiing at the ESF. He speaks French and English, and his favorite run is the Grand Couloir.
In parallel, Louis is pursuing a Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, following a BBA in Finance from EDHEC. His professional goal is to become a hotel development analyst, contributing to the creation and establishment of high-end properties in France.
Off the slopes, Louis enjoys traveling and practicing a variety of sports.
