Maciej is from Gdańsk, in Poland. He skied for the first time at the age of 2 on the hills of northern Poland near the Baltic Sea. Quickly captivated by the sport, he moved to the south of the country to train in a ski sport-study program, before continuing his training in Austria, Italy, and finally France. He represented Poland in FIS competitions and, after an injury, turned to teaching, where he enthusiastically shares his passion for skiing.
