Flavien, originally from Toulouse, grew up in a family that loves skiing. He started out as a competitor, then became an instructor during the holidays when he was a student. He then continued this activity full-time from the age of 24. He worked as an instructor for four years in the Pyrenees.

An instructor in Courchevel since 1994, Flavien teaches downhill skiing in French and English.

In the summer, he is a mountain bike instructor.
